What is RBA?

RBA refers to the Responsible Business Alliance’s code of conduct, which was previously known as the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition. This is a series of professional codes intended to improve working conditions in industry, notably in the electronics sector and its supply networks. The RBA’s primary goal is to provide a safe and fair working environment in which employees are valued and protected, as well as to encourage enterprises to operate in an ecologically responsible manner while maintaining high business ethics.

RBA establishes a standard for the electronics industry that applies to all businesses involved in the design, marketing, production, and delivery of goods and services used in the manufacture of electronic goods. In addition, the RBA Code of Conduct is also applied to businesses in the automotive, toy manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors. Businesses in the sector can voluntarily comply with this code and apply it throughout their whole supply chain, including subcontractors and contract labor providers, to guarantee that all stakeholders adhere to these professional ethical principles and standards.
